‘Botox’ kicks off international distribution

Iran-Canada joint cinematic production ‘Botox’ has launched international distribution.

The film that counts as Kaveh Mazaheri’s first feature film, after his many successful short films, has recently started international screenings.

No details on the exact release time and the target countries have been disclosed to the media yet.

‘Botox’ is about Akram and Azar, two siblings who have lied to everyone that their brother has been trafficked to Germany and there is no news of him. Gradually, this false news turns into reality in Akram’s mind. She counts the days for her brother to return from Germany.

Sousan Parvar, Mahdokht Molaei, SoroushSaeedi, Mohsen Kiaee and Morteza Khanjani are some of the cast members of the flick.

Mazaheri’s last two short films ‘Retouch’ and ‘Funfair’ have previously represented Iran at the Academy Awards.
